New Year’s Day

1.1.12 – This is the first of a plethora from one of the more cathartic photo-shoots I’ve ever had. The rain stopped about an hour before sundown, but the humidity in the air created an awesome clarity for the sunset. I was at this overlook alone for over an hour just snapping away. It was about 30 degrees and windy. I thought my tripod was going to blow over! I was freezing, but I couldn’t look away.
